Our Process For Custom Landscaping

When we create a landscape, we ensure it matches the character of our clients, with beautiful and unique elements that ensure no two projects of ours are exactly alike. Whether you want your yard to stand out with massive curb appeal or you just want a nice, cohesive outdoor element to frame your residential or commercial property, we’ll help you build the front yard, backyard, or any other outdoor space you’ve always wanted.

Our Process

Any good designer will tell you that you can’t start on a project without a plan, and that extends to landscape projects, too. We have a tried-and-true process that ensures we get the information we need so you can get the yard you want. From our first call to the final touch, we’ll keep you up-to-date and informed on what we’re doing to make your ideal yard a reality.

We start every single job with a consultation call. During this time, we’ll chat about everything you want for your yard and what that could look like. If you come in with a photo or two of your space, we can go over the specifications of what we plan to do with the space allotted.

During this time, we’ll give you a quote on the work you want done. However, if you have a specific budget in mind, we’ll work with you to craft a space that you love with the budget you’ve provided.

Once we know your budget and the space we’ll be working with, we’ll work with you to get a comprehensive list of the features you want in your outdoor space. Then, we’ll pass that off to our team of top designers. They’ll take into account your space, your budget, and, most importantly, what you want your space to look like, and work all three together to design the perfect space for you and your home.

Through this part of the process, you’ll receive their landscape design ideas and give your input. Don’t be afraid to make suggestions or ask for something different; we know that a landscape renovation is a big commitment, and we want you to have the perfect yard of your dreams. Once you approve our design, we’ll move on to the next step.

Now, it’s time to get to work! Our team of landscape architects, pavers, and other specialists will come to your home to start making your vision come to life. We’re able to install grass and your plant selection, including native Utah plants and grasses sourced from local garden centers.

We’ll also add hardscaping, such as pathways, structures (like gazebos or firepits), and decorative rock features. We can even include water features like fountains and ponds to act as a key focal point, making your backyard a picture-perfect landscape.

There are a few things we don’t offer in our services, but that doesn’t mean you need to strike it from your garden design. We keep up a great relationship with local contractors for this exact reason!

Because we’re dedicated to creating your vision exactly as you want it, we’re more than willing to call in other contractors who specialize in a wide range of landscaping areas in order to truly bring your vision to life.

Utah-Focused Landscaping

It’s no secret that landscaping in Utah comes with its own unique set of challenges. Much of the Wasatch Front has rocky, clay soil, which can be difficult to work with, and it can be even more difficult finding plants that will thrive through both hot summers and cold winters.

Luckily, our team not only works in Utah, but we’re Utah born-and-raised. We know how to work with the challenges the Utahn terrain has and create a beautiful, truly amazing outdoor space for any home
